Grade Level Presentations - Gators On Me… in 3 - 2 - 1

Ask your child what this means! Grade-level meetings were held for students to learn the campus expectations and policies.  Students are doing a great job following instructions and working hard in classes!  We are so proud of them!  Review the Grade Level Presentation with your child to ensure that they are reminded of how to do things “The Gator Way”.  Thank you!

Grades - Check HAC

Arrival/Dismissal

Parents/Guardians - We can not thank you enough for all of your patience and the level of safety that you have shown as we start/end each day.  Our time has improved (decreased) by 25 minutes from the first day of school.  Each day gets better!  To help ensure safety and decrease the time in the car rider line, please review the following:

  1. To prevent parents from being “stuck” in the back of the car rider line, vehicles will not be allowed to park & wait in the car rider line. Please do not enter the car rider line until you are ready to drop your child off.  Thank you for helping our Gator families get to their destinations/work on time.

  2. Continue to encourage your child to remain on the sidewalks as they walk/bike - They are doing a great job!!!  They should not cross any lanes of traffic or grassy areas.

  3.  Remind your car rider to “watch for your car” as you approach the front of the building.  If your child has a cell phone, you can call them to be on the lookout as you move forward.  Pull all the way forward and load after the line has moved all the way down.  This is very helpful!  Thank you to those that are helping out in this way!!!

  4. After your child unloads from your vehicle, please merge to the left lane to exit.  This helps move the line up and allows parents to pull forward.

With these actions, we can increase our time by another 5-7 minutes.  We can do it!

Bike Riders

Please remind your child to “use a bike lock” to secure their bike on the bike racks.  After reviewing the bike racks from Friday, several of them were not secured with a lock.  Please remind your child to use locks for their bikes and not to touch any bikes that do not belong to them.  Our bike racks are under camera surveillance and consequences will be issued for any theft or damage that occurs.

Dress Code

This week, our goal is to distribute ID badges to all students.  Once distributed, students must wear their ID badges daily.  We will begin with our 6th-grade students taking ID pictures this week.

Review our Dress Code policy on our website!

Tardies Begin on Monday

We will begin counting tardies on Monday, August 21st.  Students that do not make it to class on time will receive a tardy.  Please review the Tardy Policy in the grade level presentation to review the consequences for tardies.  Students with no tardies will be invited to attend our “No Tardy Party” (Date to be determined).

Emergency Drills

Safety is a top priority for our campus! Each month, our campus participates in various drills to ensure that our staff/students are aware of how to respond in the event of an emergency.  Most of our drills are unannounced.  In the event of a real emergency, you will be notified via text and/or email.  Thank you for your cooperation as we ensure the safety of our Gators!

Schedule Change Requests

On Monday, the counselors will send out a link to allow you to request a schedule change for your child. Be on the lookout for the email from “ARMS Connect”.
