Garden Restoration Project

Centennial Elementary School Launches Garden Restoration Project

As Earth Day approaches, students at Centennial Elementary School are rallying to restore their school gardens and transform outdoor spaces into vibrant learning environments. Led by the Mighty Bulldogs Step Team, the Garden Restoration Project is calling on the community for donations to bring the gardens back to life.

The initiative will create engaging outdoor learning spaces featuring native plants, pollinator-friendly flowers, educational signage, and student artwork. These gardens will not only beautify the campus but also serve as hands-on learning areas where students can explore life cycles, ecosystems, and sustainability.

To encourage participation, the grade level that contributes the most donations will have the honor of laying the foundation for a special kindness rock garden, promoting positivity and creativity on campus. Donations can be dropped off at the front office, and a QR code is available for those interested in viewing the list of needed items.

By working together, students, teachers, and families at Centennial Elementary are cultivating a greener future—one garden at a time.

For more details on how to contribute, visit the front office or contact the Mighty Bulldogs Step Team.
