Humble ISD's Early Learning Center provides high-quality educational opportunities for children and grandchildren of Humble ISD employees.

This program serves children ages 6 weeks through 5 years old.

Humble ISD's Early Learning Center (ELC) has a comprehensive capacity for early childhood education and childcare expertise. Our facility is specifically designed to meet the needs of early learners.

CIRCLE Infant and Toddler Curriculum (6 week-2 year olds)
Three Cheers For Pre-K Curriculum (3-4 year olds)
Focus on learning through play, sensory activities, vocabulary development, social, emotional, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Covered outdoor play area with splash pad
Breakfast, lunch, and snack are included in tuition for children 12 months and older. Parents provide formula.
Facility equipped with observation rooms and cameras for security purposes
Excellent communication with parents
Space is limited, and enrollment is available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Open Monday through Friday from 6:15 am—5:30 pm (during regular school year)
Available to all Humble ISD employees. Extended family members who work for Humble ISD qualify to utilize Employee Childcare (i.e., Grandparents).
Developmentally appropriate activities, including pre-literacy skills, math concepts, small group activities, outdoor physical activities, and sign language
Summer Childcare is available (Spaces are limited. Enrollment occurs on a first-come, first-served basis).

Mission

The mission of Pregnancy Related Services (PRS) in the Humble Independent School District is to provide support services to pregnant students and teen parents to improve school attendance, increase graduation rates, and enhance parenting skills. Through our services, we also strive to help students adjust academically, mentally, and physically to parenthood.

Eligibility and Information

Any pregnant and/or parenting student that is enrolled in Humble I.S.D. is eligible for PRS services. This also applies to students who suffers miscarriage or who place their baby up for adoption.
We support a comprehensive approach to supporting students by offering a coordination of services, equipping students with prenatal and parenting education information, and monitoring grades and attendance regularly to ensure academic success.
This is best accomplished by working closely with counselors, nurses, teachers, and families to promote a smooth transition during prenatal and postpartum periods.

Support Services Offered

Personalized Education Plan based on individual academic, medical, and social needs.
Compensatory Education Home Instruction (CEHI) during six weeks after baby’s birth.
Instruction related to knowledge and skills in child development, parenting, and home and family living.
Assistance to students in obtaining available services from government agencies or community service organizations, including prenatal and postnatal health and nutrition programs.
