Club Days have arrived at Deerwood. On Club Days, students meet with staff and club members to explore topics they are interested in. Some of our clubs include Running Club, STEAM Club, Travel Club, and many more. These clubs help build communication and personal skills while broadening our interests and strengthening friendships.
Christian, one of our Dolphins, is in the Recycling Club. He learned about using recycling bins instead of all trash going straight to the trash bin. He is looking forward to helping the environment.
A fifth-grade student named Tristien is in the Hiking and Camping Club. The best part of Club Day for him was walking down a trail to the park and spotting birds and squirrels. He is looking forward to more adventures.
Edi, who is in the Running Club, said she joined because she loves to run at home and school. She liked working with Ms. Miller and Ms. Macaulay. Many of her friends were in Running Club, so she was happy to be able to run with them.
