The Great DWE Summer Book Swap
Bring in your gently used books and trade them in for “new to you” books to read over the summer!
Deerwood and Foster students are invited to participate in our DWE Summer Book Swap. The Book Swap will be held in the Deerwood Media Center. Our goal is to send every Dolphin and Bulldog reader home with at least one “new to you” book.
All participating students must return a permission slip signed by a parent or guardian.
We are excited to announce the Great Summer Book Swap, a fantastic opportunity for students to exchange books and enhance their summer reading experience!
To participate, students are invited to turn in books between May 5th and May 16th.
Book Turn-In Guidelines
Acceptable Books: Hardcover or softcover books, including chapter books, picture books, and joke books. (Note: Chapter books are in high demand!)
Appropriate Content: Books must be suitable for K-5 students. Please correlate your donation with the difficulty level of book your student would like to receive.
Condition: Books should be in good condition, free from unpleasant odors, stains, rips, missing pages, or writing.
Not Accepted: Adult books, magazines, coloring/activity books, or board books.

You can bring in as many books as you want. Any extras will be donated to students who don't bring in books.

Wednesday, May 21st: Foster and DWE 1st
Thursday, May 22nd: 4th and 5th Grades
Tuesday, May 27th: 2nd and 3rd Grades
Wednesday, May 28th: PreK and K
