
ESE cleaned up at the Humble Elementary Robotics Open this morning!! We had 3 teams compete this year. The prelims were in February and all 3 of our teams earned a spot in the finals which is amazing! The finals were this morning and between our 3 teams we came home with 4 trophies!! 2nd place for video game design, 5th place for code, 10th place overall and 5th place overall. Congratulations!!!!

All Humble ISD offices and campuses will be closed March 11-15 for Spring Break. Classes resume on Monday, March 18, for middle and high school students. Elementary students have a student holiday/staff workday and will resume classes on Tuesday, March 19.


Second grade students had a blast on their field trip to Little Beakers Science Lab!


Our ESE Robotics Team competed in the Humble Elementary Robotics Open Preliminary Rounds on Wednesday, February 22. 134 teams from elementary schools in our district competed for a spot in the finals. All 3 of our ESE teams did an amazing job and ALL of them received an invitation to the finals which will be held on March 23. We are extremely proud of these students and their hard work and dedication!

Spirit Night at Spring Creek BBQ is always a blast! Thank you to everyone who came out to support our school and thank you to Spring Creek for another great Spirit Night!


The tulips have bloomed! These kindergartners were excited about the whole growing process, from bulb to flower!


Students had so much fun celebrating friendship on Valentine's Day!


ESE’s Buddy Club completed their first service project. They wanted to serve the ladies who make our school run: our custodians and child nutrition workers. The students collected snacks and assembled gift bags for them. It was a sweet surprise!


Kinder, first and second grade students had so much fun finding 100 hidden Earnie the Eagles and putting them on the grade level 100s Chart to celebrate the 100th Day of School!

Happy Counselor's Week Mrs. Lilly! ESE is so lucky to have the very best counselor ever! We hope that you have felt loved and appreciated this week!


First grade students ended their unit on non-standard measurement with Measurement Man! The students had a great time using inch worms, baby feet, links, cubes and more to record their answers.

Humble ISD will be OPEN Wednesday, January 17. Road conditions have improved. Classes will begin at normal time. School buses and activities will operate on the normal schedule.


Humble ISD will be closed Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Icy roads are not expected to improve by Tuesday morning and there will be very cold wind chills. Stay safe and warm!

Thank you to KPHS FFA students for sharing all about their animals! We loved learning about each animal and all that it takes to raise them.


5th grade students used our Root Robots to code the water cycle and work on their water cycle vocabulary. We love integrating coding into our lessons!
