Dear FCE families,
The 13th Annual Cardinal County Fair is only a few weeks away and we are getting VERY excited! We are looking forward to another fun event for the kids and FCE staff! The teacher/staff raffle gives the students an opportunity to win some additional time with their favorite teacher or staff member while enjoying a fun activity together or winning a gift basket of prizes.
We will be selling raffle tickets in the school lobby from Monday, October 30th to Friday, November 3rd from 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM. Each ticket is only $0.50! Students can buy as many tickets as they would like for as many different teachers/staff as they would like. Please try to send exact change, if possible. When students purchase raffle tickets, they will need to print their first and last name and their homeroom teacher’s name before dropping it in the raffle bag of their choice. Listed on the front of each bag will be the teacher’s name and their specific raffle prize. We will have parent helpers to assist younger students in filling out their tickets. We will also sell the raffle tickets on the day of the Cardinal County Fair November 4th from 11:00 AM – 2 PM.
The winning students will be drawn and posted at the Cardinal County Fair on November 4th at 2:00 PM. Students do NOT need to be present to win. We will notify all winners the following week and the teacher will coordinate with the family on a time for the raffle activity to take place. Baskets can be picked up from the front office on Monday, November 6th. We have included a list of the raffle parties and prizes. Please go through this list with your student and highlight or have them pick out the raffles that they wish to enter.
