Dear Foster Elementary Families,
It is with great pleasure for me to introduce our new Assistant Principal, Mrs. Holly Stevens. She wants to make a difference in the lives of students, and wants to help the students of today become the productive adults of tomorrow who are contributing members of society. As an educator, she believes we need to help our students develop not just academically and intellectually but also socially and emotionally, so they can be successful in this ever-changing world.
Our beliefs align and we will work in conjunction with families to support every student every day.
We hope that you can join us for a meet and greet, come and go, on July 27th from 4:30-6:00 underneath the pavilion for Popsicles With The Principals (see attached picture flier).
It’s been quiet without all of our students, so I look forward to welcoming them back on Wed., Aug. 9th.
Ms. Brandy Heckman, Foster Principal
A message from Mrs. Stevens:
I am excited to be returning to Foster Elementary as the Assistant Principal!
I completed both my undergraduate and graduate studies at Sam Houston State University and began my teaching career here at Foster Elementary in 1997. I was a fourth-grade teacher and then the Extended Learning Teacher, before moving into administration. I have been an assistant principal in multiple schools within Humble ISD, including Willow Creek, Elm Grove, and Lakeshore Elementary.
My husband and I have four sons, all of which are products of Humble ISD. We love being a part of this community! Our boys keep us busy with their baseball and basketball extracurriculars, but we love every second of it!
I am thrilled to be returning to the Foster Elementary School Community. It feels like coming ‘home’! I am excited to get to know the current students, families, and staff at Foster Elementary and am looking forward to a fantastic school year!
