Today our Kinder students were more than excited to sign the No Place for Hate Pledge, wrapping up our Be the Change Week! These super heroes have spent the week learning and sharing about being Great Gators to others, even when no one is looking!

Some of our Kinder students learned about Lewis Comfort Tiffany today, an artist who worked with stained glass and created the Tiffany Lamp. A big thank you to our Art Masterpiece volunteers who helped us create our own "stained glass" art!

Thank you to everyone who helped with our DI students’ shelter celebration!! They received a bunch of donations and are excited for their competition in two weeks. #ShineOn

📣We are excited to announce two gator artists advanced to state level judging for their PTA Reflections entry!! 🥳
This is a wonderful achievement as nearly 60,000 students participate in the program annually and less than 3% of those advance to Texas PTA. Final results will be announced on March 15 via the Texas PTA website.
🏅Fifth grader, Nisha Rahman, “Friendship is Perfection”
🏅Kindergartener, Liberty Taormina, “Ali the Alligator”
🎉Congratulations!! 🎉

Humble ISD is cancelling school due to the potential for hazardous roadway conditions. Humble ISD will be CLOSED on Tuesday, January 21, and on Wednesday, January 22, due to the weather forecast. As a reminder, Humble ISD is CLOSED on Monday, January 20, for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Houston beginning at 6 p.m. Monday. “Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous,” the National Weather Service stated. “The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning, Tuesday evening, and Wednesday morning commutes.”
Stay safe and warm, Humble ISD Family!
