You are invited to attend the 6th annual Battle of the Books Competition on April 6th at Atascocita High School from 9-3:30. Come cheer on our team as we compete against all the other middle schools in the district. You can also meet the author of Yazmin and Ali the Great and Yusuf Azeem is NOT a Hero, Saadia Farqui as well as Varsha Bajaj, author of Thirst and American Girls It’s Showtime Kavi from 12 pm - 1 pm. Local Food trucks, a book fair, and tons of activities will be on hand to keep the kids busy. You won’t want to miss out on this amazing day of reading celebrations.


Join us at our Title 1 Policy & Compact meeting on Tuesday April 2 at 9:30am or Wednesday, April 3 at 5:30pm in the HMS Library. This meeting is important for parents and family members to attend in order to aid us in revisions to our campus compact and policy.



Please join us next week for our fun and informative Olympic Games STAAR night on Tuesday, March 26 from 5:30-7pm.
The purpose of this event is to provide students and families with strategies and resources to prepare for the upcoming STAAR test. There will be free snacks, fun activities and games! Students in attendance will have the opportunity to earn a 100 formative grade in the class of their choice. You don't want to miss this fun event!



All Humble ISD offices and campuses will be closed March 11-15 for Spring Break. Classes resume on Monday, March 18, for middle and high school students. Elementary students have a student holiday/staff workday and will resume classes on Tuesday, March 19.

Humble ISD will be OPEN Wednesday, January 17. Road conditions have improved. Classes will begin at normal time. School buses and activities will operate on the normal schedule.


Humble ISD will be closed Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Icy roads are not expected to improve by Tuesday morning and there will be very cold wind chills. Stay safe and warm!
The district will continue to monitor the weather and will provide an update on Tuesday regarding Wednesday, January 17, 2024.


Winter Break is Here! Wishing all of our families a very happy holiday season! Humble ISD will be closed Dec. 18 through Jan. 1. Staff return Jan. 2 and all classes resume on Jan. 3.
