Mr. Barron, originally from Gulfport, MS comes to us from Wharton High School where he served as the campus principal for the two years. Prior to his time at Wharton High School, Mr. Barron served as the campus principal at Wharton Junior High School & Wharton ISD D.A.E.P. for two and a half years. Each of these campus improved in their overall campus ratings under Mr. Barron's leadership. Mr. Barron is now in his 20th year in education and 10th year in administration. 

Mr. Barron is extremely passionate about the growth of both our students and our staff. The continual goal is for HMS to make daily strides towards every student demonstrating a minimum of a year's academic growth, every student will read on grade level and every classroom will provide a high quality education to EVERY student. 

Mr. Barron is married to Alice Barron, who is a Special Education teacher at Atascocita High School. They have two children, Jerrell Jr. & Jordyn.

Hello, Wildcat Family! 
My name is Edwina Pointer. I am excited to serve the HMS community and support the mission and vision of Humble ISD.  A Louisiana native, I've been in the Houston area for over 10 years.  I have two amazing daughters and two beautiful granddaughters.  This school year will be my 11th year in education.  My tenure in education includes teaching math, science, and social studies, and serving in the roles of Math Department Chair, teacher leader, Athletic Coordinator, and head girls basketball coach.  Academically, I have a BS in Psychology with a minor in English from Louisiana State University, an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix, and a MEd from Prairie View A&M University.  I am also proud to have served as a member of the United States Army Reserves and Michigan Army National Guard for eight years.   My goal at HMS is to motivate, support, and encourage students to grow academically and instill an intrinsic motivation for the value of a good education.

Hello Wildcats!
I am Erin Drye. I am a graduate of LSU and a father of a beautiful little girl. I moved to Houston in 2018 in order to teach biology, and after four years in the classroom, I became an assistant principal. As an educator, I look forward to shaping the next generation of leaders, and I also look forward to building relationships with students and staff. Outside of school, I love to read, jog, and do tea parties with my daughter.

Amy Suchadoll comes to us from Woodcreek Middle School in Humble ISD where she served as the instructional coach for the mathematics department. Mrs. Suchadoll also taught 7th and 8th grade math at WMS. Prior to Woodcreek Middle School, she stayed home with her three children while she served the Lakeshore Elementary community as the PTO president. Before volunteering in the district, she started her teaching career in a 6th grade math classroom for Pasadena ISD earning her teaching certificate in 2004. Mrs. Suchadoll holds her Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston and earned her Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas in Houston.  Mrs. Suchadoll is a dedicated educator who believes that EVERY student can be successful. Her goals are to ensure HMS is a safe, supportive, positive place where students and staff can grow to their full potential.  Amy has been married for 21 years with three children attending Summer Creek High School: Brandon, Jake and Jenna.

Greetings HMS Family. 
My name is Joseph Grobusky and I am beginning my 15th year in education and most recently served 3 years as Assistant Principal for Edgar Allan Poe Elementary School in Houston ISD.  I earned my Bachelors Degree from Louisiana State University and Masters Degree from Lamar University.  I enjoy running, sports, travelling and reading non-fiction books.  I reside in the Humble area with my wife Kirbie and daughter Viviana.  I am very excited to serve the HMS community and look forward to meeting the great families that make up our campus.
