The EAP is provided through unum. Services are available to all benefits-eligible employees and their enrolled family members free of charge.
The EAP is available 24/7. You can take advantage of up to three face-to-face counseling sessions per issue; virtual visits are unlimited.

Health Advocate
Launching September 1, 2023
The Health Advocate is free to all Humble ISD Medical Plan enrollees. The service can:
Find the right in-network providers, make appointments, and transfer medical records.
Find the latest treatment options and arrange second opinions.
Facilitate pre-authorizations.
Answer insurance claims questions and resolve billing issues.
Coordinate all aspects of your care.
Help you make informed decisions on complex medical matters.
Reduce health care costs - including prescription costs.
Answer questions about your entire benefits package.
The Health Advocate can save you time and money while also helping you navigate complex medical matters. Wherever you are, an advocate is available 7 am - 9 pm Monday through Friday to provide immediate, direct support. After business hours, a nurse is available 24/7 to assist with emergencies or open a case that will be managed by an advocate the next business day. Whether you are trying to decide on a treatment option or talking to a pharmacist about alternative lower-cost medications, you can consult with the Health Advocate for free.

All eligible employees are given the Basic Identity Theft Protection. You must elect coverage to be enrolled.

Telehealth - Recuro
Recuro telehealth allows you and your family access to a licensed healthcare professional, via phone, 24/7. Recuro provides convenience and immediate consultation on your medical issues so you can get back to your daily life. Telehealth services save you travel and wait time at medical facilities. Board-certified doctors diagnose, recommend and prescribe treatment via phone or video.

Term Life & AD&D Insurance 2023-2024
Employer-paid Term Life & AD&D Insurance
Humble ISD provides all eligible employees with employee-sponsored Group Basic Life & Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance. An eligible employee is an active employee who regularly works more than 20 hours each week. Seasonal or temporary employees are not eligible.
The policy pays $15,000 to help cover funeral expenses, pay off debts, or cover living expenses for surviving family members. The benefit reduces to $9,750 at age 65 and $7,500 at age 70.
