WHAT IS PASS/FAIL?
Students may choose to Pass/Fail and course ABOVE AND BEYOND graduation requirements.
This will be reflected as a P or F on the student's transcript and will not calculate in to the student's cumulative GPA.
PASS/FAIL INFORMATION
Courses taken Pass/Fail do not count towards graduation requirements.
Students may request up to 4 full credits of Pass/Fail (8 semesters)
Students must submit the Pass/Fail application for each course requested.
Once Pass/Fail is approved, it may not be reversed
Students may NOT Pass/Fail a Dual Credit Course.

Use the GPA Calculator located on the KHS Counselor Website to see if Pass/Failing a course will benefit you. Scroll down the page to the section marked Counselor Resources and choose GPA Calculator. Note: Make a copy of the calculator spreadsheet before using it.
