The Kingwood High School Choir will present their "Major Works Concert" on Friday May 17, at 7:30pm at The Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in downtown Houston.
We present our Major Works Concert at the Co-Cathedral every other year as a way to give the students an opportunity to perform at what is one of the most beautiful and unique acoustical spaces in the city.
This concert is the culmination of all the students' work this year and will feature some very well known pieces from the choral music genre by John Rutter, Samuel Barber, and Benjamin Britten
. There will also be the Houston premiere of a piece written by 2019 Kingwood graduate, Killian Watt.
This concert is free and open to the public and we'd love to see as many people there as possible!
