Tryouts for the 25-26 Teams are March 17th-21st. To be eligible to tryout, ALL forms must be completed by Monday, March 3rd. Please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Fill out the General Candidate Info Form by clicking HERE. This will enroll you in the email group to receive information throughout the process. This also reserves your student a tryout spot.

Step 2: Attend the Cheer Tryout Interest Meeting on February 4th {Tuesday} at 6pm in the KMS Library. All information about the tryouts and team will be given here, with time for parent and candidate questions. This is a Mandatory Meeting for all Candidates and must be attended by the candidate and one adult.

Step 3: Join the 25-26 KMS Cheer Tryouts Remind 101. You can do this by texting "@hb8f8e" to the number 81010. This will give you a confirmation message that you have joined. You can also download the app and search for "KMSCheerTryouts25-26" as the group to join. This is how we will provide quick updates and communicate with parents during the 2 day Tryout Process when Candidates do not have their phones.

Step 4: Be sure your student has a 25-26 Humble ISD Physical performed by a doctor AFTER Feb. 1. It must be on the Humble ISD Physical Form. This MUST be turned in to the KMS Athletic Director, not Coach Wells. Boys = Coach Jackson. Girls = Coach Marxsen. A candidate cannot tryout without the form being turned in and approved. Step 5: Read the Humble ISD Cheer Handbook HERE. Sign the Acknowledgement form HERE.

Step 6: Read the Student Athlete Code of Conduct HERE. Sign the Acknowledgement form HERE.

Step 7: Read the Attendance Policy and Sign the Acknowledgement form HERE.

Step 8: Attend the Cheer Clinic from 4-5:30 on March 17th, 18th, and 19th in the KMS Gym. Candidates will learn a Cheer and Dance as well as all fundamentals on the Score sheet.

Step 9: Attend both nights of Tryouts, March 20th and 21st, 4:30pm-end in the KMS Gym.

Step 10: Check the KMS Cheer Website for a list of our 25-26 Teams to be published on the evening of the 21st.

Please note that failure to attend the Tryout Meeting or failure to complete any of the required forms required will result in not being eligible for Tryouts.

Please note that the Tryout is a 2 Day process - Candidates MUST attend BOTH days to complete tryouts. It is not a "choose a day" option.
