Charnae Jordan - Oak Forest Elementary, Fifth Grade
Aimee Harris - Whispering Pines Elementary, Fifth Grade
Secondary Finalists
Adam Bowling - Atascocita High School, Science
Jacqueline Howard - Guy M. Sconzo Early College High School, AVID IV
Jessica Wesley - Humble Middle School, Culinary
Camee Faulk - Kingwood High School, Drama
Catherine Summers - Kingwood Middle School, English
Cassandra DeBottis - Kingwood Park High School, Science
Finalists are selected by the District Teacher of the Year Selection Committee based upon written application materials. Once selected, finalists are then interviewed by the Committee.
During the Humble ISD Education Foundation Boots & Bling fundraising event on April 4, one of the finalists will be announced as Elementary Teacher of the Year and one will be announced as Secondary Teacher of the Year. One of these two will also be named District Teacher of the Year.
The Elementary and Secondary Teacher of the Year will both represent Humble ISD in the Region 4 Teacher of the Year contest that occurs during the summer.
The 10 Finalists were selected from the 48 Campus Teachers of the Year.
