Our students are in for an inspiring and educational experience as we have an outstanding speaker lined up for the day, Retired Army Colonel, Mr. Craig Simonsgarrd. Moreover, the event will feature a remarkable performance by our Honor Band, in collaboration with the RMS Orchestra and RMS Choir, making it an even more memorable occasion.
In the spirit of recognizing and honoring our veterans, we extend a warm invitation to any family member of our Riverwood students who has served in the armed forces. Current and Former members of the Armed Forces are welcome to join us for a special breakfast starting at 10:30 AM in our library. You may sign up for the breakfast using this link: VETERANS DAY BREAKFAST SIGNUP . This will provide an excellent opportunity for veterans to connect, share their stories, and build a sense of camaraderie.
We strongly encourage your veterans, whether they are part of your immediate family or extended family, to attend this meaningful event. It is a unique way for our students to connect with and show their appreciation to the local community members who have served our nation.
