Counselor
Sconzo has two counselors who work closely together to help provide its students with the tools and resources they need to explore and find their pathway to success.
Mrs. Ashby is our Lead Counselor, who works mostly with 11th and 12th graders. Mr. B is our 9th—and 10th-grade Counselor, as well as our Student Support Counselor.

Humble ISD Student Support Services Mission
The mission of the Humble ISD Comprehensive Development Guidance and Counseling Program is to help all students develop the academic, person/social, and college and career readiness skills needed to successfully manage their lives, reach their fullest potential, and become productive global citizens who respect themselves and others.
The counseling team will meet with each student at least twice this year, once in the Fall and once in the Spring. Together, your child and their counselor will discuss a variety of things, including but not necessarily limited to:
Goals for the year (Academic, personal, emotional, social)
Goals for after high school
Questions pertaining to GPA, college, Sconzo, School System
Class Rank
Service Learning
Career Attainment and discovery
College Identification, applications and choices
Course selection and Verification
Hobbies, Interests, Passions
Study Habits, time management strategies
The opportunity to meet your students one-on-one is enlightening for the counseling staff and a great way to help your students meet their next goal. We love getting to know who they are and where they would like to go with their futures. Our goal as a counseling college/career readiness team is to work collaboratively with your students to help them find their path!
Rest assured, if your student has not officially met with their counselor, they absolutely will before the end of the semester. It is our goal to meet with every student this year!
Please feel free to call or email as needed for any questions regarding your student's schedule.
