VETERANS DAY 2024
On Monday, November 11th we were honored with the privilege of welcoming veterans into our school and showing our appreciation for their service to our country. We were so glad to see so many service men and women and honor them with breakfast, patriotic songs and our gratitude.

STUDENTS EXPERIENCE THE YUCK SHOW
Students Experience Science Fun with the Yuck Game Show, Thanks to Our PTA! Thanks to the incredible support of our PTA, shark students were recently treated to a one-of-a-kind learning experience with the Yuck Game Show! This exciting and interactive event brought science to life in the most engaging way possible.
Red Ribbon Week 2024
A huge thank you to our students and families for making this year's Red Ribbon Week a fantastic success! With the theme "Life is a Movie, Film Drug Free," we loved seeing everyone engage in activities that promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. Together, we’re reinforcing the importance of living drug-free. Thank you for your participation and support!
2ND GRADE PUMPKIN PATCH
In second grade, students decorated pumpkins to represent their favorite storybook characters, blending creativity with literacy. Each student chose a character and used various materials—like paint, markers, and accessories—to transform their pumpkins. The finished designs were displayed in the library creating a vibrant gallery that celebrated reading and encouraged discussions about the stories. This project fostered both artistic expression and a deeper appreciation for literature.
BOOSTERTHON SUCCESS
This year's Boosterthon was a HUGE success. Thanks to all of our supportive shark families and friends, we were able to exceed our goal. We were able to raise over $35,000! That's phenomenal! We can't wait to add more shade to our wonderful playground to make it an even better space for everyone.
INSPIRING MOMENTS: JROTC
In Humble ISD, there are more than 550 students who participate in the Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps program, better known as JROTC. Humble ISD has five units that represent the United States Air Force, Army, Marine Corps and Navy. In November's "Inspiring Moment" video, we learn more about the life lessons that JROTC teaches.

INSPIRING MOMENTS: BOND 2022 FUNDED TECHNOLOGY
In May of 2022, Humble ISD citizens voted for students, teachers and schools to have additional, newer technology through Bond 2022 Proposition B. This month's Inspiring Moments video discusses the technology that is being purchased and how the rollout is occurring on campuses.

On June 27, 2023, Humble ISD launched a brand new website. This was the biggest change made to our platform in over a decade! This month's Inspiring Moments video is a user's guide to the new website.
