Thanksgiving Feast Flyer

We are excited to welcome friends and families to our SWE Thanksgiving Feast SWE on Thursday, 11/16.  While we are excited to welcome guests, it is very  important that families read the information below carefully and follow the two-step process-

  1.  RSVP to attend the feast

  2.  Pre-purchase meal tickets (for visitors who plan to eat)

RSVP/Visitors:  Once we receive your submitted RSVP form, we will pre-print your visitor’s badge. Remember, badges can only be pre-printed for adults who have had their ID scanned in our Raptor system this school year.  If you have not had your ID scanned this school year, you are welcome to stop by the front office prior to 11/16 to have it scanned. We will collect RSVPs through NOON on Wednesday, November 15th.

On the day of the event, guests who have RSVP'd will stop by the RSVP table to pick up their pre-printed tag. Visitors who do not have a pre-printed badge will need to check in with the front office. We recommend that visitors arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to your child’s lunch time in order to accommodate crowds.  Please plan to leave the cafeteria immediately after your lunch is over so that we can make room for the next group!  ALL visitors need to bring identification!

Meal Tickets for Visitors:  Visitors who are planning to purchase a thanksgiving meal need to prepay online ($6 per meal) by Wednesday, November 15th using this RevTrak link:  Meal Ticket Purchase

  • No Refunds 

  • There will be no purchases on the day of the feast via RevTrak.

  • When you purchase your meal ticket online, be sure to select Summerwood Elementary from the drop down, as orders are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • If a parent has multiple children in different grades and plans to eat a meal with each student, the parent should purchase a Guest Ticket for each child they plan to eat with.

  • Prepaid meal tickets will be picked up at the front prior to entering the cafeteria.

Visitors are NOT required to purchase a meal to attend. You may bring lunch for yourself and/or your student.

SWE students purchasing a meal:

  • Parents can put money on their child's lunch account with cash, check, or online payment.  

  • To pay online- use the school cafe APP or website Link: https://www.schoolcafe.com/HUMBLEISD

  • The Thanksgiving Banquet meal is the same price as normal for each student.  Paid elementary student lunch meals are $2.50.

Menu:  Turkey or breaded drumstick, Mashed Potatoes, Roll, Cornbread Stuffing, Sweet Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, Applesauce, Cranberry Sauce, Gravy, Milk, Tea (Adults Only), Peach Cobbler
