Melanie Oldner of Kingwood girls soccer was voted the Houston Chronicle's Girls Athlete of the Week after scoring 4 goals in a 6-3 victory over Clear Springs last week.

Summer Creek football coach Kenny Harrison has won the 2023 Touchdown Club of Houston UIL Coach of the Year Award along with North Shore's Willie Gaston!!
This is the third time in history of the award that there has been a tie for the Coach of the Year Award.
Harrison becomes the third-ever Humble ISD coach to win this award joining Humble’s Neal Quillin (1995) and Kingwood’s Mike Unger (1990).
