
Families came to celebrate the opening of the new Bear Branch Elementary "America The Beautiful" themed playground on Tuesday, May 6.

Kingwood Park senior and University of Tennessee-signee Courtney Daniel is the 2025 Class 5A Girls Shot Put State Champion!!
On Daniel's third attempt she hit 45-feet-8.25-inches on her throw. That was enough to take 🥇

with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Earlier this spring, the Summer Creek Bulldogs made history by claiming Humble ISD’s first-ever UIL Girls Basketball State Championship. In Episode 44 of Ask an Expert, Summer Creek Head Girls Basketball Coach Kiara Marshall and junior standout Kennedy Simpson reflect on their team’s incredible comeback victory in the Class 6A Division I State Championship and share what it means to bring home this milestone win for their school and community.
