
The students were revising and editing to create a mystery picture. This engages them while working on the skills that are needed to improve the data from the Interim assessment. The students enjoy learning and coloring.


2nd grade students have been enjoying performing their plays!


5th grade worked on a scientific investigation using candy hearts! We made hypotheses first, then went on to test our theories. Investigating what temperature of water would dissolve candy hearts the fastest. We tested with room temperature water, hot water, and ice water.


4th graders have been working on their reading stamina by reading in a cozy spot for 45 minutes uninterrupted. We are building towards a goal of 60 minutes!


Learning how to add and subtract by regrouping! We integrated some yummy snacks to help better understand the concept!


In math, we're moving on to area and perimeter. In reading, we're getting dramatic with dramas. In writing, we're writing great paragraphs with reasons and evidence. In science, we're checking the weather and understanding rapid changes.


Working together to make blueberry streusel muffins was the cherry on top of our measurement unit.


Friendship Day is tomorrow and this guy went all retro for his box!


I have a dream that the people of our school never give up and the people of this world stop being mean! Well said 3rd grade. Everyone young and old needs to remember to never give up!

In math, we're investigating division. In science, we're exploring properties of soil and why it's so important. In reading and writing, we're reading fiction and non-fiction and writing amazing summaries of both.


2nd grade has been practicing writing “How to’s”, this week we created our very own dream catchers and wrote the steps! It was so much fun! 🤩


Humble ISD will be OPEN Wednesday, January 17. Road conditions have improved. Classes will begin at normal time. School buses and activities will operate on the normal schedule.


Humble ISD will be closed Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Icy roads are not expected to improve by Tuesday morning and there will be very cold wind chills. Stay safe and warm!
