Please be patient and extend grace as we navigate new procedures and routines for a campus.
We want our students to see us modeling positive teamwork and collaboration.
Please know that every decision is made with the safety of our students a priority.
We look forward to seeing our Bulldogs tomorrow!
There's no place like home, and certainly no place like Foster!

Campus doors will open at 7:30. Daycare and bus riders will enter through door 2. Car riders will enter through door 1. Walkers may enter through door 1, 2, 9 and 10. Bikers and e-bikes/e-scooters may enter through door 10.
For the first 2 days, Wednesday and Thursday parents may walk their child to class. If your child walks or rides their bike and you want to walk with them to class on Wednesday or Thursday you may enter through door 1, 2, 9, or 10 with them, but starting Friday visitors must only enter and exit through door 1. If you escort your child Wednesday or Thursday everyone must exit the building by 8:15 AM so that the teachers can get started with the day. Our 4th graders go to specials right away so 4th grade parents if you walk in with your child, youβll need to leave promptly at 8:00.
Severe weather dismissal: When we call severe weather dismissal we will not release bikers or walkers, rather bring them to the cafeteria and wait for someone to come and pick them up. On days where we need to call severe weather dismissal weβll communicate with families at approx, 2:00-2:30 that weβre monitoring the weather, and send out a final decision by 2:45. If your child is a biker or walker please talk to them about this process and have a plan in place for someone to come pick them up on these rare occasions.
Breakfast is free for all students this school year. When students arrive they will go straight to the cafeteria to eat as theyβll have their cafeteria tag on their backpack.
Please do not remove any tags or colored wristbands from your childβs backpack because we are using them for campus operations.
Lunch visitors will not be allowed until September 8.
Dismissal Information: If your child is a walker or biker do not walk up to the campus exterior doors to retrieve them. We will release students at the gates or at 1 of the 3 crosswalks:
Lake Village at the Greenbelt
Crystal Springs at the Greenbelt
Lake Village and Trailwood Village

Foster Bulldog Families:
Monday morning at 8:00 Humble ISD Data Quality will be posting teacher assignments in HAC.
Tomorrow we have 2 Meet the Teacher times, 11:30-1:00 and 4:30-6:00, so please pick the option that is the most convenient for your family.
All visitors must enter through door 1, the front entrance. At the check in table you will be provided with an adventure page if your child's annual update (returning Humble student) or Registration (new to Humble students) is complete. If the annual update/registration is incomplete you will be directed to the cafeteria where we will have laptops and staff members assisting.
Please keep in mind, that incomplete registration can add an extra 30-45 minutes, depending on what's needed, so it's extremely helpful to have it complete beforehand.
If you have any items to donate for the staff lounge you're welcome to bring it with you.
The first Foster PTA Spirit night begins at 3:00 tomorrow afternoon at Skeeter's. Let's show up and show out to support the PTA and enjoy a great meal.
Wednesday morning the Foster PTA will be hosting a Tears & Cheers from 7:30-8:00 in the cafeteria. Please see the attached flier.

Foster Bulldogs:
If you didn't order an EPI supply kit please check out the attached pic for the grade level lists.
Your child's teacher will be posted in HAC on August 10th, the day of Meet the Teacher. Be sure to get your annual update done before then so you don't have to take 30-45 minutes doing it before going to your child's classroom. The sooner the better to help us plan for the year.
Save the date for the first PTA Spirit Night of the year and our annual back to school skate party.
There are so many great things to look forward to!
