SMS Sports Update: Week 1
Today, Ross Sterling Middle School celebrated our students and staff for our 2026 TEA Accountability. For the second year in a row, Sterling earned a B rating, this year with an 87 overall score AND two distinctions! 🏆🏆
Every person plays a part in our success. We are grateful for the focus, time, commitment, and effort invested throughout the year by our students, teachers, staff, families and entire Bearcat community.
Today, we celebrated the WIN with cake, an ice cream bar and ice cream sandwiches! 🎂🍨 And yes… we’ll take that B again! 🙌🏽
This year the GOAL is to move from GOOD to GREAT... Let's Go Bearcats!🔥🐾🔥
After-School Tutorials will begin on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 4-5 PM.

Need help with school supplies this year? Humble ISD has collected donations of school supplies over the summer to help students be ready for the first day of school. School supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first served basis while supplies last.
The School Supply Distribution event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, August 7, inside Second Baptist Church, 22770 US-59 in Kingwood.
