National Trumpet Championship Winner Caleb Cox

Caleb Cox, West Lake Middle School 8th grader, has advanced past the recorded Preliminary round into the live Semi-Final round of the National Trumpet Competition. Caleb is one of seventeen middle schoolers selected from applicants across the country to compete in the Junior Division at this year’s competition.

Every year the National Trumpet Competition is hosted by a different University in the country. The 2024 Competition will be hosted at A&M Kingsville in Kingsville, Texas between March 8-11. Inaugurated in 1992, National Trumpet Competition has provided performing opportunities, master classes, exhibition concerts, historic and commercial exhibits, and an educational, supportive environment for over 3,000 students, representing more than 40 states as well as 6 foreign countries. Hundreds of Artist Faculty members coming from universities and symphony orchestras around the nation have donated their time and talents to judge these fine young players.

Congratulations Caleb!
