Mrs. Feagins' 4th grade sharks are using AI to critique their reading responses about the central idea of an article. We love seeing their response to the feedback they are getting.
Next week is our food drive to support Society of St. Stephens. Learn more about this special opportunity to give back by visiting our SFE website!

Happy Thursday! It's COLLEGE COLORS day here at SFE.
Mrs. Sanchez likes to represent the colleges her children attend. Which college colors will you wear?

Did you know that all grade level lunch and recess schedules are easily found on our SFE website? We have so much helpful information for our shark families on the SFE website.
If you are thinking of dropping off lunch for your child you can easily check the SFE website under "students & families" and then "policies & procedures" to find out when your little shark has lunch each day!

World Kindness Day is Almost Here!
This Friday, November 14, Shadow Forest Elementary will join schools around the world in celebrating World Kindness Day. This special day is an opportunity for our students and staff to come together to promote kindness, respect, and community.
As part of our celebration, we are partnering with the Society of St. Stephen for a Thanksgiving Food Drive. Each grade level has been assigned a specific food item to donate, and we are so grateful for your support in helping local families during this season of giving.
Students are also invited to dress in neon on Friday as we “Brighten Someone’s Day” with kindness and positivity throughout our campus. We look forward to seeing our school shine with bright colors and even brighter acts of kindness.

Kinder-Sharks really gave drugs and unhealthy choice a real SCARE with these costumes! It is safe to say they are committed to making healthy choices and really showed off during Red Ribbon Week!

Our first grade teachers made a Seuss-tacular appearance during our Red Ribbon Week Costume Parade!
Dressed as The Cat in the Hat, they reminded us all that “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose!”
We love their creativity and school spirit!

🌶️Our Special Education Resource team added some extra flavor to the final day of Red Ribbon Week!
They dressed as the “Spice Girls”—with a special guest appearance from Tony Chachere himself!

Our third grade teachers put a spell on Red Ribbon Week with their Hocus Pocus themed shirts today!
They wrapped up the week in magical style while reminding students to make good choices and stay drug free.

🌟 Our second grade teachers brought all seasons to life for the final day of Red Ribbon Week! ❄️🌸☀️🍂
From winter chill to summer sunshine, they showed that every season is the perfect time to make healthy and positive choices. We love their creativity and school spirit💙 🦈

We are so appreciative of her hard work and proud to call her a shark!
