Meet your third grade team for the 2025-2026 school year! Mrs. Dykes, Mrs. Alley, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. McKellar and Ms. Fishbourne are all excited about this new school year.

Wow! Convocation was great way to kick off the school year. And to top it off, Mrs. Lackey was able to share how our school works together to increase student growth!

Congratulations to our final super staffer of the school year, Ms, Waschak! It is so fitting that the first teacher of so many of our sharks is wrapping up her career as our super staffer. You are so loved and will be missed next year, Ms. Waschak. Thanks so much for sharing your love, guidance and experience with our sharks this month and always!

To say we are proud to call Mrs. McKellar a shark would be a huge understatement. Today she was presented with the designation of "Exemplary Teacher" by Humble ISD for her outstanding performance and proven impact on the growth of the students in her classroom.

5th grade students have been hard at work creating their original products and prepping to really persuade potential customers for the annual Shark Tank project. Tomorrow is the big day where we get to see all of their hard work and creative thinking come to life!

These soon to be fifth grade boys had a great time at their picnic yesterday! We can't wait continue to the fun today with everyone else.

This week we celebrated speech pathologist day with two of the best! We are so thankful to have you both here at SFE.

Former students weren't the only familiar faces we were able to see last week during our senior walk. It was so good to see these former shark teachers too!

As we wind down the school year it is a great time to reflect on all the wonderful things we've done here at SFE. We are so thankful that we get to see shark friendships like these bloom throughout the year! What great things happened for your sharks this school year?
