Rosalyn Sweat received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Prairie View A&M University in 1999 and her master’s degree in Educational Administration from Texas Southern University in 2003. She began her teaching career as a middle school teacher in 1999 where she taught 8th grade reading. From 2004-2018, she served as an Assistant Principal/Principal at the middle school and high school levels.
In 2019, she joined Humble ISD and the administrative team at Summer Creek High School. Mrs. Sweat served as a Bulldog for 2 years as an Assistant Principal. In May of 2021, she was named the founding Principal at Autumn Ridge Middle School and is devoted to continuing to serve children and her community. Mrs. Sweat has dedicated her life to ensuring the success of students and personalizing learning to help them reach their full potential.
Mrs. Sweat is married to Ryan Sweat, an educator and coach. They have 2 children that attend schools in Humble ISD. They reside in the Humble ISD district and enjoy being a part of the community. They enjoy spending time together, traveling, and playing games.
